Technicians

We have 5 ophthalmic technicians, all of whom have received their COA credentials
(Certified Ophthalmic Assistant by the Joint Commission for Allied Health Personnel
in Ophthalmology). Three of our technicians have received their COT credentials
(Certified Ophthalmic Technician by the Joint Commission for Allied Health Personnel
in Ophthalmology. Four of our technicians are certified by VISX as laser operators,
and all are certified by Intralase as laser technicians. All of our technicians
have participated in the performance of thousands of LASIK procedures and assure
that our equipment is cared for and precisely calibrated according to exacting
standards. Our aggressive continuing medical education program for the technicians
is second to none in Upstate South Carolina.
